The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on IT Systems Administrator to support our U.S. office in partnership with our UK-based IT team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes ownership, and can balance day-to-day support with systems maintenance and improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor and manage daily backup processes; troubleshoot and escalate issues
- Set up and maintain user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft 365 (Exchange, licensing, permissions)
- Configure laptops/desktops, software, printers, and peripherals for new and existing employees
- Provide day-to-day technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Assist with maintenance and optimization of Microsoft and QNAP servers
- Manage and troubleshoot office printers and related systems
- Write and modify SQL queries to support reporting needs
- Partner with global IT to support infrastructure and system improvements
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in an IT support, systems administrator, or similar role
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365 (required) including Exchange and user administration
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Windows Server environments
- Experience supporting both Windows and Mac OS environments
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and hardware troubleshooting
- Experience writing or modifying SQL queries
Nice to Have
- Experience implementing or administering tools such as Salesforce, ClickUp, or similar platforms
- Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision)
- Experience with VMware or other virtualization tools
- Reporting experience with Power BI or Crystal Reports
- Experience supporting or improving internal systems/processes
