Role Overview
The Associate Buyer is the starting point for a career in purchasing at RMS. This role is designed for someone eager to learn the fundamentals of buying, global sourcing, and supply chain operations within the toy industry.
You’ll gain hands-on experience placing and managing purchase orders under the direction of Buyers and Senior Buyers, maintaining organized systems, and supporting product execution from sample to shipment.

Key Responsibilities
- Place and manage purchase orders under the direction of the Buyer or Senior Buyer
- Support the team by accurately entering and maintaining purchasing data
- Create and maintain item cards and product setup documentation
- Track samples and support internal documentation
- Assist with cross-functional communication between Sales, Studio, and overseas factories
- Maintain organized purchasing files and inventory records
- Support storage and category organization
Core Skills & Qualifications
- 0–1 years of professional experience (internships welcome)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail
- Excel proficiency (basic formulas, sorting, reporting)
- Microsoft Office experience required
- Microsoft NAV experience a plus
- Collaborative and relationship-oriented
- Eager to learn and grow within purchasing and supply chain
- Curious mindset and passion for toys and innovation
